The perpetrator who shot a victim in the rear end March 2011 outside a Dickson nightclub was placed on probation for reckless endangerment.
Joshua A. Simmons, 22, of Nashville, pleaded no contest April 9 to an amended reckless endangerment charge for the incident. A grand jury initially indicted Simmons in August with attempted first−degree murder.
According to an affidavit, at 12:37 a.m. March 12, Dickson police received a call to Evolution in reference to a fight. While cars where en route, dispatch advised that shots had been fired. Once on scene, one victim was shot in the butt and airlifted via LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
